The Iowa-Missouri Conference Education Department held its annual Outdoor School at Camp Heritage, September 10-13.

This year’s event brought together 72 students and 16 sponsors from 10 conference schools. Participants enjoyed classes, fellowship, food, activities, games and worships. Morning and evening worships centered around the themes taught in each class that day.

Classes included Standard First Aid, taught by Robert Thompson; Nature Remedies, taught by Pastor Scott Haakenson; and The Animal Kingdom, taught by Pastor Seth Coridan. All students completed the Standard First Aid Pathfinder honor.

Outdoor School, held annually in the fall, is open to all fifth- and sixth-grade students in Iowa and Missouri, whether they attend a conference, private, public or home school.
