The St. Louis Central Church’s Women’s Ministries team was pleased to welcome Dr. Cheryl Kisunzu to the pulpit recently for our Women’s Appreciation Day. Her message was inspiring as she shared about Living Loved. She challenged us to intentionally speak God’s promises over our lives every day, asking God to use us to be diffusers of His love and to anoint our lips to be sources of encouragement.
Young and older members alike wore the chosen colors of teal and pink. The children thoroughly enjoyed the puppeteer children’s story about mothers. The entire day reflected the Central Sisters working together as a team to have a wonderful day of worship and teaching.
Church deacons and other men graciously hosted lunch in the beautifully decorated fellowship hall. The day continued with a Women’s Holistic Health seminar where members of our church, sister churches and the community all learned vital information about women’s health and wellness.
The day concluded with a musical vespers of testimonies and praise. Our prayer is that we will be refreshing fragrances in all our encounters through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit as we live loved.
