The Sullivan Church recently welcomed two new members by baptism, Laura Welbert and Gary Doyle.

Laura had been associated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the past but had not been actively attending church. She started attending the Ladies Prayer Group at the church when she moved to the area, and soon after began attending Sabbath services. One day when Pastor Rodney Osborne made an altar call, she responded.

Gary had attended a variety of different churches over the years. One day he came across a copy of Signs of the Times from a box being filled by Sylvia Hartwick from our sister church in Bourbon. He kept going back to the box to read more and eventually became convicted about the Sabbath. He visited the Sullivan Church and has been attending ever since, also responding to Pastor Osborne’s altar call.

Both began studies and soon after decided to be baptized. And there was joy in heaven. God is good all the time.
