The Des Moines Church’s Women’s Ministry team recently came together for an amazing evening filled with love, laughter and an intentional service project.
Throughout the month of October, fleece donations were collected in preparation for a blanket-making party. In just under three hours, the group of ladies completed 25 blankets! Kathy Tyler, Dorcas ministry and community services director, will give the blankets to an agency working with displaced children in need.
A special thank you to all who helped organize the event and to all who donated fleece and time. The amount of chatter and laughter heard in the gymnasium was truly heart-warming! It was an amazing experience working together for such a great cause!
