The Des Moines Church’s Women’s Ministries team had a Christmas party last Sunday. Activities included a table decoration contest, Christmas trivia, wonderful food and fellowship.
The entrance fee was a pair (or more) of socks—the number one item requested by homeless people and shelters that support them. The group collected 44 pairs of socks that will be donated to people in need by our local Around Town Mobile Food Pantry (formerly Van Ministry).
