The 2018 Iowa-Missouri Camp Meeting was held June 5-9 at Sunnydale Academy.

General

Schedules and locations for all meetings are listed in the camp meeting program, available here and at the Auditorium and Information Center upon your arrival. Signs will also be posted at each of the meeting locations.

Youth

Below are the youth schedule and permission slip (which many of their activities require). Both documents will also be available at the Information Center.

Dean Coridan

Dean Coridan has served as president of the Iowa-Missouri Conference since 2006. He previously pastored for 20 years in the conference and along the way served as development director, ministerial director, church planting coordinator and lay evangelism coordinator. Dean is passionate about world missions and travels to Africa and Nepal each year. Family is a high priority for Dean. He has been married to his wife, Gail, for 40 years and together they have five children and seven grandchildren. Dean’s favorite verse is Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Douglas Na'a

Douglas Na’a is director of the It Is Written School of Evangelism, SALT (Soul-winning And Leadership Training)—a partnership between It Is Written and Southern Adventist University. For nearly 20 years he has served as pastor in both local and regional fields. He has conducted evangelism, revivals and training seminars throughout the world. Douglas holds a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University and has been happily married for 13 years to Waterlily Meliana Na’a, with whom he enjoys hiking, outdoor camping, traveling and making new friends.

Bonita Shields

Bonita Shields is associate director of stewardship for the NAD. She previously served as editor and assistant director of discipleship for the GC Sabbath School and Personal Ministries departments, assistant editor of the Adventist Review, and associate pastor of the Spencerville Church, where she was commissioned in 2002. Pastor Shields received her theology degree at Washington Adventist University and her master’s in pastoral ministry at Andrews University. She completed the Dave Ramsey Financial Coach Master Training in 2016 and believes an understanding of our identity in Christ as stewards will help God’s people live more joyfully and generously. She lives in Silver Spring, MD, with Roy, her husband of 33 years.

Coming Out Ministries

‘Coming Out’ Ministries meets the sexuality crisis of today by offering personal journeys, compassion, and the Word of truth. A relationship with God alone offers true contentment and an abiding sense of belonging. This message is not just about sexuality. It’s about victory over any sin and walking anew in Jesus.

Seminars: Fri, 9:00–10:30 am, 2:00–3:00 pm (see p. 8)

This year’s musical guest was Cyiza Music Ministry (pronounced “Cheeza”). The trio is comprised of Sam and Jessica Cyiza, and Daniel Mugorozi.

CMM stands on the Word of God as its anchor and guide, and their desire is that through their music and videos people will be brought a step closer to the loving arms of Jesus Christ. To learn more about Cyiza Music Ministry, or to order music, visit their website.
